Through this, a company can bring their company members out
and introduce the art form of dance to many children and young people helping
them to understand how the form can develop. Also an appreciation, an
expressive and creative medium like this exists in all cultures and
civilisations that make up global human family. The Performance lecture is
great for schools and community groups. Most of the companies I’ve dance for,
would have a performance lecture demonstrations. The students really enjoy
meeting the dancers, asking questions and taking part in the specific dance
steps or movements on stage. It’s a
lovely, caring and special way to share our gifts of dance.
