The awards celebrate the work of Hackney's voluntary and community sector and the achievements of Hackney's young achievers respectively.
Which individual or organisation do you think deserve to be recognized for their work and dedication? Nominate now!
 
The Adiaha Antigha Award 2014 categories are:
  • for the individual or organization that has successfully challenged racism
  • for the individual or organization that has made a difference for older people
  • for the individual or organization that has done the best partnership working
  • for the local group that has campaigned successfully
  • for the individual or organization that has made a difference to LGBTI communities.

Nominations deadline: 15th August 4:00pm (Once all the nominations are in the sector will be invited to vote online for the winners).

The awards will be presented at a special event in Hackney in the last week of September.
The awards are held in memory of Hackney CVS’ founder Adiaha Antigha, 1949 – 2006, and Hackney CVS’ Youth Programmes Manager Gary Francis, 1966 – 2012.
