and the achievements of Hackney's young achievers respectively.

The Adiaha Antigha Award 2014 categories are:
- for the individual or organization that has successfully challenged racism
- for the individual or organization that has made a difference for older people
- for the individual or organization that has done the best partnership working
- for the local group that has campaigned successfully
- for the individual or organization that has made a difference to LGBTI communities.

The Gary Francis Awards
recognize young people who have achieved against the odds, with award
winners receiving a £250 Amazon voucher. To nominate a young person for

The awards will be presented at a special event in Hackney in the last week of September.

awards are held in memory of Hackney CVS’ founder Adiaha Antigha, 1949 –
2006, and Hackney CVS’ Youth Programmes Manager Gary Francis, 1966 –
2012.
